Jon Kantor, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 18, 2025. His loss leaves a deep void in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

Born with a generous spirit and an unwavering commitment to family, Jon built a life centered on kindness, integrity, and quiet strength. He shared forty-five years of marriage with his devoted wife, Beatrice Kantor, a partnership grounded in love, laughter, and mutual respect.

Jon was predeceased by his parents, Ben and Lilyan Kantor as well as his sister, Rosanne Rosen. Jon was the cherished father of four children, each of whom was shaped by his gentle guidance and steady presence: Stephen Kantor and his wife Katie Tuttle-Kantor; Corey Wexler and his wife Tamara Schwartz; Michael Kantor and his wife Lori Lerner; and Lindsay Kantor and her husband Devon Lowry. He took immense pride in the families they built and the values they carry forward.

Jon was lovingly known as “Grandpa” to his grandchildren, who brought boundless joy into his life: Avery, Morgan, and Drew Kantor; Jake and Sam Wexler; Cooper, Lucas, and Tanner Slutsken; and Dylan and Maya Kantor. He delighted in their accomplishments, celebrated their individual personalities, and shared with them stories, humour, and wisdom that will remain with them always.

Jon’s legacy is one of compassion, humility, and devotion—to his family, his community, and the traditions he held dear. His memory will be a blessing to all who had the privilege of knowing him.
