Lawrence Litwin

Peacefully on Thursday, April 23, 2026, with family by his side. Loving husband of Fabiola Metellus. Cherished son of Michael Litwin (Suzanne) and Edith Engelsberg Burko (the late Sam Burko). Beloved brother and brother-in-law of Melanie and Ben Burko of Toronto; step-brother of Aura Burko (David Kaplan). Proud uncle of Jordan, and Aliyah. Dear son-in-law of Marie-Thérèse Jacques and brother-in-law of Gerard, Carole, Evens, and Myriam. Lawrence will be greatly missed by his many nieces, nephews, extended family, friends, and all who knew him. Special thanks to Dr. Huynh for her constant care and dedication. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Sunday, April 26 at 12:00 p.m. Burial at the Tolner section, Baron de Hirsch Cemetery, de la Savane. Frère et beau-frère adoré de Melanie et Ben Burko de Toronto; demi-frère d’Aura Burko (David Kaplan). Oncle fier de Jordan et Aliyah. Gendre dévoué de Marie-Thérèse Jacques et beau-frère de Gerard, Carole, Evens et Myriam. Lawrence manquera énormément à ses nombreuses nièces et neveux, à sa famille élargie, à ses amis et à tous ceux qui l’ont connu. Remerciements particuliers à Dre Huynh pour ses soins constants et son dévouement. Les funérailles auront lieu chez Paperman & Fils, 3888, rue Jean-Talon Ouest, le dimanche 26 avril à 12 h. Inhumation à la section Tolner, au cimetière Baron de Hirsch, chemin de la Savane. Le Shiva aura lieu au Ruby Foos, puis à Toronto, au domicile de Melanie. Des dons à la mémoire de Lawrence peuvent être faits à la Fondation de l’Hôpital Général de Montréal.
