Peacefully, surrounded by his family on Monday, March 16, 2026 in his ninetieth year. Beloved husband of Millie for sixty-nine years. Loving father and father-in-law of Carrie and Irwin Goldberg, Wendy, and Rhonda Kantor. Proud grandpa of Samantha and Lee-Andrew Wismach, Erin Vandzura and Jennifer Gassowski, Jeremy, and Heidi Goldberg; Philip Bercovitch and Claudia Rondeau, Heath, Dean Bercovitch and Neus Rocco, Jake Bercovitch and Aliya Matchett. Great Grandfather (Pa) of Warner, Nathan, Hallee; Skylar, and Evren. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Eleanor and the late Moe Herer, Harriet and the late Harry Fleisher, and the late Neil Ross; brother-in-law of Paula Trefler, and predeceased by Morris Trefler, Lily and Harvey Lewis, Gertie and Issie Ginsberg. The family would like to thank Dr. Marc Bienz for his exceptional care and compassion. 

Funeral service from Paperman and Sons, 3888 Jean-Talon St. W. on Thursday, March 19 at 1:00 p.m. Burial at the Congregation Shaar Hashomayim Cemetery, 1250 ch. De la Fóret. Shiva at 6800 Macdonald Ave, Côte Saint-Luc, H3X 3Z2, on Thursday from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. and from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Friday from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., Sunday through Tuesday from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. and from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Evening services at 7:30 p.m.
