Peacefully at home, surrounded by his loving family, on Thursday, August 13, 2026, at the age of eighty-seven. Devoted husband of Shushana (Rose) Abman Caplan for 65 years. Loving father and father-in-law of Edward Caplan and Sarina Wiseman, and Michael Caplan. Very proud and adoring Zaidie of Braedon, Evan, Max, Solomon, and Clara. Dear brother-in-law of Harry and Dorli Abman; and cherished uncle of Becky, and Sarah Abman. Son of the late Joseph and the late Annie Caplan; and son-in-law of the late Simon and the late Freda Abman. Len will be deeply missed by his family and many dear friends in Montreal, Toronto, Ottawa and Deerfield Beach, Florida.  The family wishes to extend heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Thomas Jagoe, and the doctors, nurses and staff of the pulmonary oncology department at the Jewish General Hospital for their care. Special thanks to CLSC Rene Cassin and Nova.

Len was a giving, multitalented and active man who loved to laugh, socialize and live life to the fullest.
