Lillian Herman (née Einbinder)

Peacefully, in her one hundred and second year, on Saturday, June 27, 2026. Cherished and devoted wife of the late Murray Herman for seventy-one years. Beloved mother and mother-in-law of Steven and Flory, Larry and Alma. Loving grandmother of Rachel and Spencer Crandell, Adam and Sabrina Herman. Proud great grandmother of Lincoln and Teagan Crandell. Dear sister and sister-in-law of the late Ida and the late Benjamin Abugov; and sister-in-law of the late Jack and the late Mindy Herman, the late Ida and the late John Bernstein, the late Eva and the late Sam Horowitz. Born in Montreal to the late Saul and the late Fanny Einbinder. She will be fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews. Special thanks to Gemma Wacnagan, Alice Aboli, Khalilah Asayco and Marisa Monzon for their devotion and superb care, and to the staff of Donald Berman Jewish Eldercare. 

Graveside service on Tuesday, June 30 at 11:00 a.m., at the Tifereth Jerusalem Congregation Cemetery, Beth David Section (C-21), de La Savane. Donations in Lillian’s memory may be made to the charity of your choice.
