Shiva will be observed from Wednesday through Monday. Please note that visitors are kindly asked not to come between 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m., or between 5:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. each day.

Shiva visits on Friday will conclude at 3:00 p.m. and resume on Sunday.

Please also note that Tammy will continue shiva at her home in Pittsburgh starting Friday.

Shacharit will be at 7:30 a.m., and Mincha/Maariv will be at 6:30 p.m.

Peacefully, on Monday, June 15th, 2026. Cherished daughter of Laura Pesner and the late Morty. Beloved wife of Max for nearly 54 years. Devoted mother and mother-in-law of Stuart and Andrea Fried, Gayle and Nicky Stone, and Tammy and Craig Grossman. Proud and adored Saftee of Netanel, Noa, Eliana, Ethan, Andrew, and Zachary. Sister of the late Alan Pesner. Sister-in-law of Ruth and the late Avram Drazin, Barbara and Meir Fried, the late Sheila and the late Isaac Fried, and the late Pearl and the late Al Deuitch. Lynda will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by her many cherished nieces, nephews, family and very dear friends. Special thanks to her “sister” Barbara for her months of devotion, and to her caregivers and staff at the Royal Victoria Hospital. 

Funeral service from Paperman and Sons on Wednesday, June 17th at 11:00 a.m. Burial at the Montefiore Protective Section, Baron de Hirsch Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva at her home.
