Mona will be continuing Shiva in Toronto on Sunday and Monday at her home.

With dignity on Monday April 20th, 2026. Predeceased by his devoted parents Fanny and Louis. Beloved husband of Myrna for sixty-four years. Loving father and father-in-law of Mona and Mark Pasternak, Lorne and Lisa, Steven and Marla, Mark and Melissa. Adoring and cherished Zaidy of Chloe and Adam Trapid, Zachary and Maud, Jordana, Marley, Charlie, and Max. Proud Great Zaidy to Ella and Chase. Dear brother and brother-in-law to Ralph and Shelly, Judy and the late Shim, Golda and Allan Kligman, Marsha and the late Nathan Gans, Mary and the late Harry Clamen, and Saul and Bruna Clamen. He will be missed by his many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, longtime friends and his children’s dogs that he loved.
We would like to thank the exceptional staff of Maimonides 4 South who treated our father with compassion and dignity as well as his caregivers Mitchell Wolanski and Mona Hamburg.
