After a courageous battle with cancer, it is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Margalit Kohen (née Kaufman) on November 6, 2026. Beloved wife of over 60 years to Moshe (Mike) Kohen, dear sister to Mina Zusman, loving “Imma” to Dafna Kohen, proud “Safta” to Eliana, Amira, and Shir Brehaut and caring “Doda” to Alon, Oren, and Elan Zusman. Margalit will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by family, friends, and others who knew her. Margalit made friends wherever she went and her positive outlook and smile will be forever held in our memories. We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude and appreciation to the doctors and nurses at the Jewish General Hospital for their attention and care and the exceptional staff at Maison St. Raphael for their compassion and support.
Funeral service from Paperman and Sons, 3888 Jean-Talon St., W. on Sunday, November 8 at 2:00 p.m. Burial at the Workers' Circle Section, Kehal Israel Cemetery, DDO. Shiva at her home.
