Peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on Thursday, August 8, 2024. Beloved wife and soulmate of the late Morton Kader for fifty-six years. Cherished mother and mother-in-law of Randi Kader and Richard Mertl, Steven Kader and Deborah Voronoff, Michael Kader and Lorri Lamb. Trusted friend of Deborah Sulany. Adored and beloved Bubby of Carly Brender and Michael Ostroff, Jessica Brender, Noah and Lauren Kader. Daughter of the late Esther Becker and the late Abraham Shuster. Daughter-in-law of the late Anne Gottlieb and the late Sam Kader. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Nancy and the late Harry Korman, the late Sylvia and the late Nat Weiner, and the late Fannie Fine. Sister-in-law of Herbie and the late Marilyn Isenberg, and the late Danny Kader. She will be lovingly remembered by her nieces, nephew, family, and friends. Our heartfelt gratitude to Elizabeth Prince for her exceptional care, love, and compassion towards Marilyn over the past five and a half years. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Sunday, August 18, at 12:00 noon. Burial at the Adath Israel Poale Zedek Anshei Ozeroff Congregation Section, Baron de Hirsch Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva will be held at the Adath Israel Synagogue, 223 Harrow Crescent, Hampstead on Sunday following burial until 4:00 p.m. and from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., and Monday 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. The remainder of the shiva will be strictly private. Donations in Marilyn’s memory may be made to Arthritis Society Canada.
