Max Konigsberg, a most amazing man has passed from this life on Tuesday, June 4, 2024. From humble beginnings as the self-described barefoot boy in Barbados, to an incredibly successful Businessman. As the founder and CEO of Shirley K Maternity, Thyme Maternity, Addition-Elle and Shirmax he was a leader that was admired for his vision, warmth, generosity, and integrity. Max was a loving patriarch of the Konigsberg, Feinberg and Schapiro family. He was loved by his friends and community and a proud leader and contributor to the Montreal Jewish community. Max was a philanthropist, a motivational speaker, an athlete, a traveler, a student of life and a beacon of light.  He loved to entertain, dance and the legend was that it never rained on a Konigsberg party. He loved life, his family, and most of all his late beloved Shirley. Max, you have left a large hole in this world that cannot be filled. You will be so very missed by your adoring children and their spouses, Dr. Esther Konigsberg and Jeff Bessner, Philip Konigsberg and Michele Beaudet, Rachelle and Paul Gold. Proud and cherished Grandpa of Harrison and Chloe, Alana and Nate, Jordanna and Joel; David, Jacob, and Liam.  Treasured Grandpapa of Lucy, and Florence. Irreplaceable brother and brother-in-law of Betty and Jack Feinberg, Ellen and Peter Schapiro, Dr. Michael and Estelle Mauer, the late Alex Konigsberg, Vivian Konigsberg and Lawrence Bergman. He will be greatly missed by his nieces, nephews, family, and close and loving friends. The family is grateful for the compassion and devotion shown by his wonderful caregivers.
