Suddenly, after a courageous battle, on Saturday, June 7, 2025, in her ninety-fifth year. Loving wife of Isaac Benchimol. Loving mother and mother-in-law of Simy and Moise Illouze, Jaime Benchimol, and Leonora Benchimol. Proud grandmother of Rafael; Casey Benchimol Pacht and Ryan Pacht; and great-grandmother of Rosie, and Sammy. Predeceased by her siblings and their spouses. Mercedes will be missed by her family, friends, and all those who knew her.
