Peacefully on Saturday, May 25, 2024 (18th of Iyyar, Lag Ba’omer) in his seventy-sixth year. Beloved husband of Esther for forty-five years. Devoted father and father-in-law of Miri and Lorne Rosenbloom, Rena and Jared Lapkovsky, Mattan and Shlomo Rozenek. Loving Saba of Jonah, Jesse, and Maya Rosenbloom; Rhoee and Eden Lapkovsky. Son of Holocaust survivors, the late Lieb and the late Ruchla Rozenek. Dear brother-in-law of Haim and Esti Orbach of Israel. Mike will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews, family and friends, as well as by all who knew and loved him. He leaves behind a legacy of active support for Canadian Magen David Adom and Israel. Special thanks to Nadine and to the staff of the Hemodialysis unit at the Jewish General Hospital, as well as Centre Évasion for their care, kindness, and devotion.
