GROSS, Naomi (née Hill)

Peacefully, on Sunday, June 23, 2024, in her ninety-fifth year. Devoted wife of the late Bernard. Beloved mother and mother-in-law of Marlene Gross and Lenny Lazarus, Robert (Zeek) Gross and Joanne Loper, Bram Gross and Deppy Papandreou, Roz Bakst Gross and the late Laury Gross. Cherished ‘Nana’ of Riel, Patrick and Chen, Rochelle, and the late Sam; Aemon, and Sinead; Bernie; Ari and Candice, Adrian and Alyssa. Proud great-grandmother of Lydia, and Leon; Levi; and Wren. Predeceased by her siblings and their spouses, Harry and Anna Hill and Shirley Hill, Hilton and Eva Hill, and Ben-Ami Hill. Dear sister-in-law of Sherna and the late Nat Gross, the late Jerry and the late Ann Gross. Daughter of the late Abraham and the late Dora Hill. Naomi will be fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews, family, and friends whose lives she touched and shared. Special thanks to the dedicated staff of C3 at the Jewish General Hospital and to all Naomi’s devoted caregivers, especially Vivian and Irena whose love and support over the past year were so valued. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean-Talon St. W., on Tuesday, June 25 at 11:00 a.m. Burial at the Russian Polish Hebrew Cemetery, de la Savane.
