With profound sadness, we announce the sudden passing of Neil Matthew Poch on Tuesday, March 3, 2026 at the age of 72. A devoted husband, father, brother, uncle, and friend. Neil leaves to mourn his passing his wife of 30 years, Heidi Shulman Poch; their daughter Sarah Poch and her partner Daniel Harrington, all of Toronto, and siblings Michael Poch and Isobel Wattine of France, Vivian and George Chudy of Israel, and Rachel Poch of France as well as many nieces and nephews. Born in Montreal on January 5, 1954, Neil was the son of Jewel (z'l) and Lewis Poch (z'l).
Neil's sometimes gruff exterior concealed a generous heart and a loving spirit. A consummate professional, whether in business, volunteer activities, or simply in life, he shared his experience and wisdom freely with all who crossed his path.
His legacy lives on in the generations of young people he mentored as a Jewish youth worker, and as a business owner and entrepreneur.

May Neil's memory always be for a blessing.
