Naomi Kitner

Naomi Kitner (Noni) passed away peacefully on Monday October 20, 2025, in Orlando, Florida at the age of 70. She was the much loved daughter of the late Murray and Charlotte Kitner. She was the beloved sister of Michael (Helen) and Bart (Bonnie) and the cherished aunt of Erica, Ryan (Emilie), Nikki (James), Mariah and Portia. Naomi was the adored cousin of Cary (Elen) and Mimi (Peter). Naomi graduated from McGill University, studied at Stanford University, and received her master’s in clinical psychology from the University of Central Florida. She launched her career as a mental health counselor at Osceola Mental Health. Following her passion for helping people through her work as a licensed mental health counselor she devoted herself to her clients for over 25 years in private practice in Orlando. She was a very loving, kind, gentle and empathetic person who cared deeply for others. She will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved her and will be in our hearts forever. Funeral service will take place in Miami at the Lakeside Memorial Park Cemetery on Monday. Shiva will be at Bart’s home in Montreal on Thursday, October 30 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Friday, October 31 from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. Donations may be sent to the charity of your choice.
