The family will have visitation on Sunday, April 5 following the funeral until 4pm and from 7-9 pm, Monday, April 6 from 2-4, 7-9 pm, and Tuesday April 7 from 2-4, 7-9 pm.

It is with profound sadness that the family of Norman Katz, announces his passing on Wednesday, April 1st, 2026. Loving father and father-in-law of Carrie (Ron), Brenda and Jeff, Shawn (Vikki). Proud Zaidie of Bryan, Mira, Jason and Ronni, Daniel, and Emily, and great-grandfather of Logan. Devoted and loving partner of Rena and cherished husband of Sarah. Dear brother of Esther (the late Meyer) and Larry (Carol). Norman will be deeply missed by his nieces, nephews, extended family, friends, and all who knew him. Deepest gratitude to Analyn and Anthony for their extraordinary care and compassion. Norman faced a long and courageous journey with dementia, Alzheimer’s, and cancer, outliving all expectations while maintaining his sense of humour throughout.
Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Sunday, April 5th at 11:00 am. Burial at the Dominion Hebrew #2 section, Baron de Hirsch Cemetery, de la Savane.
