Rhoda “Rozie” Pekar (née Stark)

Peacefully, wrapped in her daughter's arms, on Sunday, February 22, 2026 at the age of eighty-four. Beloved wife and best friend of Joseph Pekar for sixty-five years. Incredible mother of Doreen Pekar, and Marla Pekar Ramirez. Proud “Bubbie” of Gabriel. Sister of the late David, and the late Fishel Stark. Daughter of the late Joseph and the late Sarah Stark. Rozie will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. 

Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Thursday, February 26 at 9:30 a.m. Burial at the Farband Labour Zionist Organization Section, Kehal Israel Cemetery, D.D.O Shiva is strictly private.
