C’est avec une profonde tristesse que nous annonçons le décès de Robert Reuven Cohen, survenu paisiblement le lundi 2 mars, entouré de l’amour de son épouse bien-aimée, Eliane Nahory Cohen, avec qui il a partagé 67 années de mariage, ainsi que de sa famille. Il rejoint son fils Michel Cohen, qui l’a précédé. Il laisse dans le deuil sa belle-fille Lina, ses petits-enfants Brandon, Jonathan et Andrew ; sa fille Violette, ainsi que ses petits-enfants Samuel, Harrison et Gabriella Mashaal.
Homme d’une grande force et d’une remarquable persévérance, doté d’un humour chaleureux et d’un amour profond pour les siens, il laisse un vide immense dans le cœur de ses frères, sœurs, neveux, nièces et de nombreux amis.
Le service funéraire aura lieu le mercredi 4 mars à midi chez: Paperman et fils, 3888 rue Jean-Talon Ouest. L’inhumation suivra dans la section « Russian Polish Hebrew Cemetery », au cimetière Baron de Hirsch, 5015 rue de la Savane. It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Robert Reuven Cohen, peacefully on Monday, March 2, surrounded by the love of his beloved wife, Eliane Nahory Cohen, with whom he shared sixty-seven years of marriage, and his family. He is now reunited with his son Michel Cohen Z”L. He is survived by his daughter-in-law Lina, his grandchildren Brandon, Jonathan, and Andrew; his daughter Violette, and his grandchildren Samuel, Harrison, and Gabriella Mashaal.
A man of great strength and remarkable perseverance, gifted with a warm sense of humor and a deep love for his family, he leaves a huge void in the hearts of his brothers, sisters, nephews, nieces, and many friends.
Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean-Talon St. W., on Wednesday, March 4, at 12:00 noon. Burial at the Russian Polish Hebrew Cemetery section, Baron de Hirsch Cemetery, 5015 de la Savane. Shiva at 719 Upper Belmont Ave., Westmount, Wednesday following burial until 4:00 p.m. and from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., Thursday from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., and Friday from 12:00 noon to 3:00 p.m.
