Rose Katz (née Goldstein)

Peacefully, at home on Sunday morning, November 8, 2026 at the age of 99, just days before her 100th birthday. Beloved wife of the late Myer Katz. Devoted mother and mother-in-law of Joel Katz and Deborah Kestenbaum, Michael Katz and Birgit Reinders, and the late Hester Ruth Katz. Cherished grandmother of Adam (Jamie Berns), Oren, and Nathaniel Katz. Loving great-grandmother of Ryan Emeric Katz. Dear aunt of Sarita, Veda, and the late Annalee, and of Helena, Simon, and Sheldon. Sister to the late Sam Goldstein and the late Rachel Frankel. The family extends its gratitude to Meriam Pragamac and her amazing team of devoted caregivers for their many years of compassionate care including Liza, Cita, and Anne. Thanks also to the CLSC Palliative Care team for their timely availability and intervention.
