Rose Saleh (née Sofer)

Peacefully at home, surrounded by her family on Sunday, January 18, 2026. Beloved wife of the late Edward Saleh. Daughter of the late Heskel and the late Marcelle Sofer.

Cherished and admired by her daughters Sharon and Claude and their spouses Michael Oxner and Daniel Winn. Adoring grandmother of Julian and Alexander; Maya and Jacob.

Dear sister and sister-in-law of the late Joseph and Patricia, David, and Jamil Sofer; and sister-in-law of Raymonde and the late Henry, Emile, George and Yvonne, the late Morris and Angele, the late Richard, the late Evelyn and the late Fuad, and the late Amy and the late Edward.

Special thanks to her extraordinary caregivers Kedish, Mehri and Yodit. A true lady, with a great passion for art and beauty. Rose will be deeply missed by her nieces, nephews, extended family, and many friends.

Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Tuesday, January 20 at 1:00 p.m. Burial at the Spanish & Portuguese Congregation Cemetery, 1250 ch. de la Forêt. Shiva on Tuesday following Mincha (4:15 p.m.) at the Spanish and Portuguese Synagogue.
