Roslyn Greenberg Greenfield (Née Rabinovitch), 90, passed away peacefully at her home in New York City on Tuesday, June 17, 2025.
Born in Montreal Canada, she moved to New York aged 26, and worked as a physical therapist in both hospital and private practice.
She married Herbert W Greenberg, with whom she had a beautiful marriage that produced their son Jamie.
Widowed in 1981, she remarried in 1993 to Lawrence Greenfield, with whom she had a second wonderful marriage, until Larry’s sad passing in 2003.
She loved her family and dear friends with a beautiful fierceness. She will be sorely missed and never forgotten.
Roslyn is survived by her son, Jamie, step-children, Lauren, Lisa and Peter, sisters in law, nieces, nephews and a wide circle of beloved friends.
Ros loved painting and created many beautiful pieces which she shared generously. She also loved jazz music and gardening, had a passion for travel, and a profound love of dogs.
Services will be held at 11am on Tuesday June 24th at Congregation Rodeph Sholom, 7 West 83rd Street, Schnurmacher Chapel, 6th Floor, followed by interment at Union Field Cemetery.
