Sidney Loeub

C’est avec grande tristesse que nous vous annonçons le décès de notre très cher et tant aimé, Sidney Salomon Loeub, survenu le vendredi 24 avril 2026, entouré de sa famille. Fils de Simy z’l et Nissim z’l. Mari doux, attentionné, respectueux et si aimant de Daisy Israël Loeub. Père dévoué et exceptionnel avec une fierté et un amour inégalé pour sa fille Roxanne Loeub et son beau-fils Nino Tartaglia. Papy qui n’avait de yeux que pour sa petite fille, Stella, son étoile, son rayon de soleil, sa fierté, son bijou. Il laisse également derrière lui, ses frères et sœurs, Elise (Sion), Jo (Marie), Mireille (David z’l), Madeleine (Albert z’l), Maurice z’l (Huguette) Jacky (Barbara), Jacqueline (Émile z’l), ainsi que de nombreux neveux et nièces et leurs familles respectives, ainsi que toute sa belle-famille Israël, qui le chérissaient tant et qu’il aimait tendrement. Jusqu’à la dernière minute, son courage, sa bonté et sa gentillesse inégalée avec tout le monde qui le côtoyait de près ou de loin transparaissaient. Son sens de l’humour et sa joie de vivre nous ont tous marqués à jamais. Un homme inégalé, avec un grand cœur, adoré de tous. 

Les funérailles auront lieu chez Paperman & Fils, 3888, rue Jean-Talon Ouest, le mardi 28 avril à 14 h. Inhumation à la section CSUQ, au cimetière Eternal Gardens, à Beaconsfield. La shiva aura lieu au Centre Sépharade de Torah de Laval. Des dons à sa mémoire peuvent être faits en son nom à la synagogue centre Sépharade de Torah Laval (centresepharadetorahlaval@gmail.com).

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our very dear and beloved Sidney Salomon Loeub, on Friday, April 24, 2026, surrounded by his family. Son of Simy z”l and Nissim z”l. A gentle, caring, respectful, and deeply loving husband to Daisy Israël Loeub. A devoted and exceptional father, with unmatched pride and love for his daughter Roxanne Loeub and his son-in-law Nino Tartaglia. A grandfather who had eyes only for his granddaughter, Stella—his star, his sunshine, his pride, his jewel. He also leaves behind his brothers and sisters: Elise (Sion), Jo (Marie), Mireille (David z”l), Madeleine (Albert z”l), Maurice z”l (Huguette), Jacky (Barbara), Jacqueline (Émile z”l), as well as many nieces and nephews and their respective families, along with his entire Israël extended family, who cherished him deeply and whom he loved dearly. Until his very last moments, his courage, kindness, and unmatched warmth toward everyone he encountered, near or far, shone through. His sense of humor and joie de vivre have left a lasting impression on all of us. A truly exceptional man with a big heart, loved by all.

Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Tuesday, April 28, at 2:00 p.m. Burial at the CSUQ Section, Eternal Gardens Cemetery, Beaconsfield. Shiva will be held at the Centre Sepharade de Torah Laval. Donations in his memory may be made in his name to the Centre Sepharade de Torah Laval Synagogue (centresepharadetorahlaval@gmail.com).
