Steven Gerald Brodkin

Peacefully on Saturday, September 06, 2025, in his 76th year. Beloved son of the late Edith and Harold Brodkin. Loving brother and brother in-law of Carol and Murray. Cherished Uncle of Dr. Laura Sang(Marc Provost). Steven will be greatly missed by his Uncle Elliot and his many cousins.

Steven’s life was defined by his passion and devotion to his work as an artist. His unique painting style and creativity remained a focal point throughout his life.

He cared deeply for his parents, always showing gratitude and tenderness, with a special bond of devotion to his sister Carol, whom he adored.

Special thanks and gratitude to the nurses and staff at Extendicare Medex in Ottawa who took exceptional care of Steven over the years.

A Graveside Funeral Service will be held at 10am on Wednesday September 10, 2025, at Jewish Memorial Gardens, 2692 Bank Street, Ottawa. 

Shiva will commence following the service at 161 Leopolds Drive and continue Wednesday and Thursday evenings from 7pm to 9pm. 

Donations in Steven's memory to Tamir Foundation would be greatly appreciated by his family.
