Peacefully on July 11, 2026, two months short of his 102nd birthday.  Beloved husband of the late Marianne Bolgar. Loving father and father-in-law of Kathy and Shalom Diamond, and Robert Bolgar and Katy Lynch. Adoring grandfather of Leah Diamond, Ari (Chavi) Diamond, Naomi (Jon) Diamond, Joshua (Ariel) Bolgar, Rena (Andy) Diamond, and Zander (Emily) Bolgar. Proud great-grandfather of Ami, Nava, Dovi and Ellie Diamond, Natey, Mia, Gabby and Sammy Cohen, Eli and Simon Bolgar, and Abby Sherman. Revered older brother of Angi Richt.

A Hungarian Holocaust survivor, Ted was a much-celebrated witness for hundreds of students on fifteen March of the Living trips. He was a much beloved friend and mentor to so many throughout his life. The family wishes to express their deep gratitude to the wonderful caregivers whose devotion made it possible for Tibor to remain comfortably at home until the end.
