Barbara Ann Rabie (née Shebairo)

It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Barbara Rabie (née Shebairo) on Sunday, August 10, at the age of eighty-four. Beloved wife of the late Fred Rabie for sixty-one years. Devoted mother and mother-in-law of Samra and Michael Lipman. Loving grandmother of Zara and Simon Lipman. Daughter of the late Victor and the late Marcelle Shebairo. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Linda Shebairo, Dennis and Carol Shebairo; and sister-in-law of the late Yvonne and the late Maurice Jedda, the late Edward Rabie, the late Gene Rabie. Barbara will be missed by her nieces and nephews, cousins, family, friends, and all those who knew her. Special thanks to Margaret for her kindness and care. 

Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Tuesday, August 12 at 12:00 noon. Burial at the Spanish & Portuguese Congregation Cemetery, 1250 ch. de la Forêt, Outremont. Shiva at the Spanish & Portuguese Synagogue, 4894 Ave Saint-Kevin, Montreal, Tuesday following burial until 4:00 p.m. and from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., Wednesday and Thursday from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., Sunday from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Evening services at 7:00 p.m. daily.
