Holocaust Survivor

Peacefully, on Saturday, August 9, 2025, in her one hundredth year. Beloved wife of the late Nathan Blankrot for seventy-four years. Daughter of the late Tzvi Zev and the late Chaya Kriw, who perished in the Holocaust. Devoted and loving mother and mother-in-law of Hymie and Rachel Blankrot, and Doris and Avi Zilberstein. Cherished Bubby of Keren and Mario Born, Orit Blankrot, Shani and Bryan Kelenson; Liat and Avram Levi, Yoni and Esther Zilberstein, Noah and Nicole Zilberstein, and Talia Zilberstein. Proud ‘Great-Bubby’ of Simon, Julian, Carter, Miles, Phoebe, and Leo. Dearest sister and sister-in-law of the late Abe and the late Kreina Munk; and sister-in-law of Renee and the late Adam Blankroth, the late Fela and the late David Lewinter. She will be sorely missed and lovingly remembered by her family. Mary’s family would like to acknowledge with sincere gratitude Melanie Waknine for her devotion and compassion.

Burial at the Tifereth Beth David Jerusalem Congregation Cemetery, Tifereth Jerusalem Section, de la Savane. Shiva at Hymie and Rachel’s home.
