Peacefully surrounded by family after a short but valiant battle. Beloved wife, partner and best friend for 40 years of Irwin Neudorf. Proud and devoted mother to her three sons Noah (Jessica Zryl), Mikey (Callie Gruber) and Spencer (Diana Kouli). Adored Bubby Papa to her five beloved grandchildren, who were the biggest joys of her life: Tyler, Logan and Brody, Riley and Owen. Thrilled to know that another was on the way! Daughter of the late Francie and the late Earl Merling. Daughter-in-law of Helen Neudorf and the late Zelman Neudorf. "Besty Shvesty” to Wendy Merling and Linda Merling (Steve Brown, Aunt of Joely Brown). Sister-in-law to Francine Neudorf (Rick Pfaff). Lifelong best friend and "framily "of Wendy Sokoloff. In her own words: "I lived my life to the fullest with no regrets other than the lack of more time. I got to see all of my children grow up to be wonderful men. Saw all of them marry and add grandchildren I absolutely adored and were my raison d’etre. I had an exceptionally beautiful marriage and an absolutely wonderful life. And an amazing family to lean on, and lean on me till the end. Life was good. No regrets."
Deepest gratitude to the CLSC/NOVA palliative homecare team; Myriam, Paula, and Dr. Caitlin Stoddard and to Dr. Natasha Garfield for their comfort, care and guidance through this process. With heartfelt thanks to Letitia, our Angel. Our everlasting thanks to all the staff and volunteers at St. Raphael who helped us through this final journey with the utmost of humanity and dignity.
