Beatrice Leitner (née Huttman)

It is with profound sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our adored mother Beatrice Leitner (née Huttman), on Saturday, July 19, 2025, in her ninety-seventh year.  Beloved wife of the late Yehuda Leitner.  Loving mother and mother-in-law of Sam and Liz, Daphne and Martin, David and Pamela. Proud grandmother of Jonathan (Alize), Maya (Oriel), Jayme (Burak) Lauren, Benjamin (Taylor) and Nathan.  Proud great-grandmother of Jacob, Lev, Emmett and Aria McHugh; Nora and Leon Leitner; Eliyas and Ayla Solak. The family would like to thank Maria for her unwavering care and devotion. Heartfelt gratitude to the staff of the Maison St-Raphaël as well as to the staff at the Palliative Care Unit at the Jewish General Hospital. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean-Talon St. W., on Sunday, July 20 at 1:00 p.m. Burial at the Beth Ora Congregation Section, Kehal Israel Cemetery, Dollard-des-Ormeaux. Shiva at her daughter's home, Sunday after services and Monday through Wednesday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. daily.
