September 25, 1941 to August 17, 2025.

We are very saddened to announce Beverly's passing on Sunday, August 17, 2025,  after a courageous battle against cancer. Beloved wife and best friend of Sam Goldbloom for sixty-four years. Loving mother and mother-in-law of Mark Goldbloom and Jennifer Pilkington, and the late Mitchell Goldbloom and Dana Soroka. Cherished “Bubby” to her grandchildren Talia, Jordan and Joseph. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Gary Vinegar and the late Laura Stock, and the Late Alec Vinegar. Daughter of the late Moses and the late Esther Vinegar. Beverly will be greatly missed by her many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Beverly was an elementary school teacher for many years and then for over twenty years thereafter, taught English as a second language to recent immigrants, thereby improving the lives of thousands of people.

Upon retirement, she and Sam traveled extensively, usually by cruising. She was an avid bridge player with a wide selection of friends. She was also a strong supporter of Israel and Israeli causes.

Her sense of humor and beautiful smile lit up a room. She was always gracious, generous and kind. Her primary love was for her immediate and extended family. She never forgot to acknowledge a birthday, anniversary, or a special occasion.

Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Wednesday, August 20 at 1:00 p.m. Burial at the Adath Israel Poale Zedek Anshei Ozeroff Congregation Cemetery, de la Savane.
