Friends and family are invited to her son Aron’s home Friday immediately following the burial. Shiva to commence after Shabbat on Saturday from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., continuing Sunday through Wednesday from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. and from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. daily.

With profound sadness, the family shares Evelyn’s peaceful passing on Wednesday, December 31, 2025. Born in Montreal to Sarah Green and Harry Zaslowsky. Beloved wife of the late Sonny Oppenheim. Devoted mother of Aron, the late Avrum (Terri Kugelmass), and the late Sander. Loving Bubby of Matthew (Dr. Jessica Burdo). Predeceased by her cherished older siblings; Molly (Andy), Betty (Phil), Susie (Harold), Sally, Willy, and Cookie; and survived by her dear sister and brother-in-law Marilyn and Jerry. Evelyn will be deeply missed by her nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Evelyn was filled with unending love, energy, and laughter and was adored by her family and friends.
