Frances Sager (Née Rubinger)

Peacefully, after a courageous battle with cancer, at home surrounded by her loving family on Friday, June 6, 2025, at the age of ninety-two. Devoted daughter of the late Anne Levine and Harry Rubinger. Beloved and devoted wife of Stanley Sager for sixty-three years. Cherished mother and mother-in-law of Lawrence and Carolyn Sager, Stephen and Adrienne Sager, Linda Sager, Robert and Sheryll Sager. Proud grandmother of Joshua and Chloe Sager, Ethan Sager, Megan Sager, Dylan Sager, Jordan Sager, Danielle Sager, Andrew Sager, Ryan Meltzer, Alexandra Meltzer, Max Sager and Jacqueline Sager. Sister of the late Arthur and Myra Rubinger, Norma and the late Julius Aber, the late David and Claire Rubinger, Avrum and Janet Rubinger. Frances will be remembered for her grace, strength, and unwavering love for her family. Her resilience, warmth, and generous spirit touched the lives of all who knew her, and will be missed by her many nieces and nephews, family, and friends.

Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W. on Monday, June 9 at 12:00 p.m. Burial at the Shaar Zion Beth-El Congregation Section, Eternal Gardens Cemetery, Beaconsfield. Shiva at her home Monday following burial until 9:00 p.m., Tuesday through Thursday from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Evening services at 7:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday.
