It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of George Robert Weiss, on Tuesday evening January 6th, 2026, after a long, hard fought battle with multiple illnesses. George, born to Albert and Gabriella Weiss, was born in Montreal, Quebec, on September 1st, 1951. Brother of the late Yvonne Weiss. His life was dedicated to being a positive role model, not just to his children, but also the hundreds of children he coached in hockey and soccer throughout the years in the Dollard and North Shore communities. George leaves behind his wife Olga, two sons David and Ivan, and cousins Suzette and Robert Dutch, all of whom will miss him dearly.
