Gerry Sirota

It is with profound sadness that we announce the death of Gerry on September 7, 2025. Devoted and cherished husband of Sonia, his beloved partner in life for 66 years. Treasured father and father-in-law of Corrie Sirota and Andy Frankel and the late Andy Sirota, whose memory Gerry carried in his heart with endless love. Proud and extraordinary Zeidie to Ashley, Justine Frankel and Avromi Steinberg, who were his pride and joy. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Beverly and the late Murray Deskin, Gerry will also be fondly remembered by nieces, nephews, extended family, and countless friends.

To know Gerry was to love him. He had a rare gift of making everyone feel like they were his most special friend. His remarkable sense of humor, his kindness, and his gentle soul left an imprint on all who were fortunate enough to cross his path. Gerry embodied the very meaning of the word GENTLEman - always gracious, caring, and warm.

His legacy is one of laughter, love, and unwavering devotion to his family. Gerry will be missed beyond measure, but the memories he leaves behind will be cherished forever.

Funeral services entrusted to Paperman & Sons on Monday, September 8 at 12:00 p.m. Burial at Independent Hebrew Cemetery, Baron De Hirsh Cemetery.
