GOLDBERG, Gertrude (née Blank)

Peacefully, at home, on Wednesday, July 10, 2024.  Devoted wife of the late Walter Goldberg for sixty-six years.  Beloved mother and mother-in-law of Carol and Larry Lifshitz, Stephen and Susan Goldberg of Ottawa.  Adored Bubbie of Jarrad Lifshitz, Bryna and Scott Rabin, Maarianne and Donald Macleod.  Proud great-grandmother of Max and Leo Rabin, Matthew (Matty) Macleod.  Dear sister and sister-in-law of Harry and Elaine Blank, the late Minnie and the late Mel Samis.  Predeceased by Walter’s siblings and their spouses, Joe and Molly Goldberg, Freda and Saul Aron, Helen and Richard Goldner, and Nathan Goldberg.  Gertrude will be lovingly remembered by her nieces, nephews, family, and friends.  Heartfelt gratitude to Gertrude’s caregiver, Sylvia, as well as to the staff of the Waldorf Residence.
