Ronnie Wexelman

Peacefully, at home, at the age of ninety-two. Beloved and devoted partner and soulmate of Lila Cutler. Loving father of Debbie Wexelman (Andy Katz) and Steven Wexelman. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Irene and the late Norman Wexelman, Marilyn Dubrofsky and the late Marvin Gilary, Irwin and Tobi Wexelman. Proud Zaidie of Ashley Perez and Adam Weingarten, Samara Perez  and Joe Brier, Adam Perez  and Gil Mazurik; Meaghan Wexelman, Lauren Wexelman and Robbie Rommers, Skye and Sam Clark. Cherished great-grandfather of Chloe, Kayden  Liev, Eytan, Aurelie, Reeves, Rocky and Kaia. He will be lovingly remembered by Lila’s children, Stephanie and Larry Smolar, Sheldon and Andrea Cutler, and by her grandchildren, Lianne and Adam, Jillian and Jamie,  Jamie and Sam. An avid golfer and skier for decades, Ronnie had a true zest for life. People naturally gravitated toward his easygoing, charismatic personality. He is survived by Gertie Wexelman, the mother of his children. He was deeply loved and will be missed by his nieces, nephews and all who knew him.

Funeral service from Paperman and Sons, 3888 Jean-Talon St. W., on Friday, September 25 at 12:00 noon.  Burial at the Beth Israel Beth Aaron Section, Kehal Israel Cemetery, D.D.O. Due to the holiday of Sukkot, shiva ends Friday afternoon at 5 pm.
