Sandy Satin (née Fleischer)

Peacefully, on Thursday January 15, 2026. Beloved wife of Dr. Richard Satin for 54 years. Cherished mother and mother-in-law of James and Tarryn Satin, David Satin and Suzan Ekim, Jillian Satin and Daniel Buchman, and the late Robert Satin. Proud Bubby of Sean, Liam, Aaron, CJ, Oliver, and Chloe. Devoted daughter of the late Jack and the late Fanny Fleischer; and daughter-in-law of the late Max and the late Bertha Satin. Dear sister of the late Jules Fleischer and sister-in-law of Gerry and the late Marilyn Satin, Sandra and Sheldon Kirschner, Fran and the late Doug Nelson. Loving aunt of Christopher James, Lisa and Jason Stevens, the late Andrew Satin; Jodi and Mitchell Tessler; Michael, Jennifer, and Jeffrey Nelson. 

Sandy lived and died on her own terms. She poured her love, alongside her husband Rick, into raising her children to be unique individuals and meaningful contributors to the world. Her community was expansive, with dear old friends in Montreal and new ones in her special second home of Turks and Caicos. Sandy will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by her family and many friends. Special thanks to the wonderful Palliative Care staff at the Jewish General Hospital.
