Sarah Fremeth (née Polonoff)

On Sunday, September 7, 2025, peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family in her 102nd year.  Dear wife of the late David Fremeth.  Devoted mother and mother-in-law of Lenard and Rosemary, Edward, Steven and Roz, Irwin and Marlene.  Cherished Bubby of Shari and Stephen, Shawn and Vernon; Adam and Rachel, Howard and Melanie, Robyn and Joe; Deena and Phil, Neil and Kristin, David and Alex, the late Rawchelle, the late Naomi, and the late Shane.  Proud Bubby-Bubby of Jordan, Rina, Noah, Ethan; Layla, Seth, Orly, Lev, Madelyn, Jackson; Ryan, Foster, Audrey, Nate, Theo and Elliot.  Sister and sister-in-law of the late Irving and the late Ethel Polonoff; sister-in-law of Lionel and Havie, Abe and the late Shirley, the late Annie and the late Abe, the late Saul and the late Muriel.  Sarah will be sadly missed by her many nieces, nephews, family and friends.   The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to Yolanda, Rosemary, Jaika for their extraordinary care, kindness and devotion.

Funeral from Paperman and Sons, 3888 Jean-Talon West, on Wednesday, September 10 at 10 a.m.  Burial at the Sainte-Sophie Jewish Cemetery.  Shiva following burial until 9:00 p.m., Thursday from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., Friday from 12:00 to 3:00 p.m. at 6700 The Avenue in Côte Saint-Luc in the reception room. Sarah led a long and meaningful life, an inspiration to all who were fortunate enough to have known her.
