Passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by family on May 24th, 2024, the sixteenth day of Iyyar 5784. Shoshana Samuels, beloved wife of Meyer z”l. Loving mother and mother-in-law of Sarah Samuels and Bill Frenkel, Charlene and George Arje, and Francine and Barry Fagen.  Proud Safta of Tamar, Eli, Ilana, Evan, Danielle, Daniel, Estee, Eric, Aliza, Sammy, Arianna, Meir, and Gayil. Adoring great-grandmother of Yoni, Elie, Daniella, Noa, Talia, Coby, Aaron, Leah, Nathan, Leore, Koby, Ozzy, Zachy, Maya, and Yaffa. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Pnina and Ychiel (Jack) Kifell, and the late Zev and Bina Eisenberg, z”l, and Paul Eisenberg z”l.

Special thanks to Bernadette for her outstanding devotion and care, and to Jasril for her kindness. Extreme gratitude to Dr. Michael Bouhadana, Dr. David Donath and Dr. Ruby Friedman, who all went above and beyond, and to the wonderful organization Refuah V’Chesed. Shoshana was her family’s Eishet Chayil, whose midot (character traits) greatly inspired her family. Her generosity and kindness knew no bounds. The first to always help, she personified an unwavering commitment to her friends. She appreciated life and considered every day a blessing. Shoshana had a deep commitment and love for the State of Israel, together with her late husband Meyer. Shoshana will also be deeply missed by her nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and all those who knew and loved her.

Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Sunday, May 26, 2024 at 12:00 p.m. noon. Burial at the Chevra Kadisha Section, Kehal Israel Cemetery, D.D.O. Shiva will be held at her home.
