It is with great sadness that we must announce the peaceful passing of Steven "Moki," "Pajaro," Nador. He was a kind, generous, wise and adventurous father, husband and friend. Surrounded and loved by his wife of 43 years Cathy Nador (nee Cox); as well as his children: Jeff (Stéphanie), Derrek, and Rachel (Émilie) Nador and his many friends.
Steven was born in La Paz, Bolivia, to the late Arthur Nador and the late Hanne-Liese Grischmann, who fled the turmoil of naziism in Europe. "El Pajarito" then migrated north: first to New Jersey and then to Montreal, where he built a full and fulfilling life.
Ever the storyteller, he was never at a loss for a riveting yarn. He will be sorely missed by all those whose lives his stories touched.
