Peacefully, after a long and meaningful life on Monday, December 22, 2025. Tamara was a deeply loved wife, mother, and community member. She shared 67 devoted years of marriage with her beloved husband, Lou, a partnership marked by loyalty, kindness, and quiet strength. She was a proud mother to her son, Elliot, and a cherished mother-in-law to Kathryn. And proud Bubbie to Oliver. Predeceased by her sister Rachel and her husband Karol. Sadly missed by nephews Norman and Lenny, great nephews & nieces Jason and Lisa, Emma and Brendan, and their families.
For many years, Tamara served as the beloved librarian at Herzliah Saint-Laurent, where her love of books, learning, and young people left a lasting impression on generations of students. She was known for her strength, intelligence, and encouragement.
The family extends heartfelt gratitude to the exceptional caregivers, Sunita and Eva, for their compassion and dedication, as well as to the staff at CHSLD Hope for their care and support.
Tamara will be remembered with love and deep respect by all who knew her.
