Terry Schwartz (née Boutet)

It is with profound sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Terry Schwartz on September 30, 2025, in Montreal. Born Thérèse Boutet on December 11, 1938, in Victoriaville, she was the daughter of the late Yvonne and the late Charles Edward Boutet, and one of eleven children, with nine sisters and two brothers.

Terry was the beloved wife of the late Sonny Schwartz, with whom she shared 36 loving years. She was a devoted mother to Linda, Steven, and Nancy; a proud grandmother to Shanna, Patricia, JC, Brett, and Michelle; and a cherished nana to Samantha and Cayla.

Terry will be remembered for her kindness, grace, athletic spirit, and dignity. A passionate bridge player, golfer, and skier, she embraced life with a joie de vivre and a radiant smile. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

The family extends heartfelt gratitude to the caregivers who supported Terry over the past four years; Michelle, Heidi, Lydia, CLSC, and the Lev Tov staff.  Their compassion and dedication allowed her to maintain her dignity and quality of life.

A graveside funeral service will be held on Friday, October 3rd at 12:00 p.m. at  Shomrim Laboker Congregation Cemetery, Beth Hamedresh Hagodol Section, de la Savane.
