Peacefully, after a courageous battle, on Tuesday, September 30, 2025, at the age of seventy-seven. Loving and devoted husband of Florence (Szwarcok) for thirty-four years. Incredible father and father-in-law of Jamie Lubiner and Kathy Gyori, Andrea and David Gellis, Caryn Lubiner and Hugh Wellman, Stephanie Weschler and Howard Haimovitz. Proud Zaida/Zida of Hayden, Marley, Zoe, Cece, Gabriel, and Noah. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Linda Lubiner and Randy Taylor, Shelley Lubiner and Robert Paris. Son of the late Lou and Freda Lubiner. Special thanks to Dr. Petrecca for his compassionate care.

Ira built a successful career in the garment industry. Always on the go, he was well-known and respected by his clients. Named Mr. Congeniality on the pickleball courts, Ira will be fondly remembered for his passion for the sport, his love for fishing, and for his Mustang. His family and numerous devoted and loyal friends will miss him dearly, and his memory will live on in the many lives he touched.
