It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of David Haltrecht on Monday, September 14th, 2026 at the age of 87.
Beloved husband of Phyllis (née Moscovitch) for 63 years, loving father of Jeff (Tracy), and Debra (Robert), cherished grandfather of Sydney, Jadyn, Ryan, and Cameron. Dear brother of Ed (Carolyn) and Earl (Irene).
David had a deep love for family and helping others and took pride in his work with the Cote-St-Luc Men’s Club. He was an engineer and at the forefront of software development, had a lifelong passion for sailing, and in his eighties, developed a love of building and flying drones.
You left behind a life filled with wonderful memories. Know that you were and will be loved forever in our hearts.
