Roberta “Bobby” Mendelson (née Woloz)

It is with profound love and deep sorrow that the family of Roberta “Bobby” Woloz Mendelson, announces her peaceful passing at the age of ninety-two, following a vibrant, impactful, and remarkable life. Deeply devoted mother and mother-in-law of Kim Mendelson, Leslie Mendelson and Skip Beloff, John Mendelson and Nathalie Soussana, Walter Mendelson and Carrie Markin, Michael Mendelson and Kathleen Cawthorn. Cherished grandmother of Chelsea Beloff and Michael Mueller, Ali Beloff and Adam Lieberman, Zach Beloff and Anna Porte; Rachel Mendelson, Noah Mendelson and fiancee Morgane Lasry, Joel Mendelson; Matthew and Kara Mendelson; Olivia and Eddie Mendelson, William and Gabrielle Mendelson. Proud great-grandmother of Remi Mueller, Cole and Austin Lieberman. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Linda Woloz, Steve and Lynn Woloz, and Donnie and Monica Woloz, the late Elsa Woloz Cantor and Mackie Cantor.  Beloved lifelong friend and sister-in-law of Faye Mendelson and sister-in-law of the late Charlie Mendelson, the late Butch and the late Ginger Mendelson. Daughter of the late Minnie and the late Eddie Woloz. Former wife of the late Max Mendelson. Bobby will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews, extended family, and many friends. Deep gratitude to her devoted caregivers, Bi, Carina, Mayette, Racqel, and May, for their exceptional care, compassion and above all, the genuine love and devotion they showed Bobby. Their kindness and unwavering presence brought her great comfort and will forever be remembered with heartfelt appreciation.

Funeral service from Paperman and Sons, 3888 Jean-Talon St. W., on Monday, September 28 at 1:00 p.m. Burial at the Hebrew Sick Benefit Association Cemetery, de la Savane. Due to the festival of Sukkoth, shiva will be on Monday, October 5. The family will be receiving visitors at her daughter Kim’s home on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday September 28-30.
