Ira Pomerantz

September 26, 1952 - October 18, 2026

With broken hearts, the family of Ira Philip Pomerantz announces his passing on October 18, 2026, in his 75th year. Ira was the beloved eldest son of the late Larry and the late Marcia Pomerantz, and the brother of Fred Pomerantz, and of Barry Pomerantz.  The family extends its heartfelt gratitude to Lenore and Emelie for the extraordinary care and love they showed Ira these last 15 years. In fact, Ira leaves behind two families to mourn his loss.  He will be deeply missed and forever cherished.

Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Tuesday, October 20 at 2:00 p.m. Burial at the Young Israel of Chomedey Section, Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Duvernay. Shiva is strictly private. Donations in Ira’s memory may be made to the charity of your choice.
