Peacefully, at home, surrounded by his loving family on Friday, December 5th, in his 102nd year.  Son of the late Abraham and the late Annie Shore.  Beloved husband and soulmate of Rita Solak Baron for sixty-seven wonderful years.  Loving father and father-in-law of Judy Baron and Sal Cantelmi, Michael Baron and the late Barbara Sternberg, and Elayne Baron and Dr. Michael Starr.  Proud Grandpa of Derek, Vanessa and Aubrey, Chelsea, and Dr. Jonathan and Adam.  Cherished great-grandfather of Roman and Gabriel. Devoted brother and brother-in-law of Rubin Baron, the late Jean and the late Max Winer, the late Florence and the late David Karsch, the late baby Max; Bella Solak and the late Edward Kasner, Henny Feldman and the late Mendy Solak, the late Mary and the late Jerry Weissfeld, the late Zelda Solak. Irving will be deeply missed by his extended family, friends, and all who knew him.

Irving lived a full and meaningful life. A proud WWII veteran who served in the Royal Canadian Air Force. He went on to build a life with Rita, founding Baron Sport and working side by side for forty-five years. Above all, Irving was a devoted family man who treasured his loved ones more than anything. Kind, warm, and always ready with a joke. He was the very definition of a mensch and will be deeply missed.

Special thanks to all his wonderful caregivers, Beverley, Genesa, Michelle, and Helen for their kindness and devotion.
