Ivan Gross

Peacefully, surrounded by his loving family on Monday, October 5, 2026.  Beloved husband of the late Marla Miller.  Loving father and father-in-law of David and Carina, and Melissa. Proud  grandfather of Brody, Millie and Ivy. Son of the late Etta and the late Jerry Gross and son-in-law of Mavis and the late Abe Miller. Cherished brother and brother-in-law of Carrie and Morris Charney, Cindy and Fred Naimer, Bettina and Ian Morris, Pam and Howie Rosenoff. Brother-in-law of Lorne and Debra Miller, Steven and Karen Miller, Joanne and Harley Eisman. Ivan will be lovingly remembered by his many nieces and nephews and by his devoted cousin Stephen Gross who stood by him like a brother.  Heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Thomas de Gabory, to Head nurse Kathia, nurses Selene and Nikky, préposés Ida and Shanon, Art therapist Semaline, Music therapist Dan, all from Palliative care, JGH, as well as to Rifka from Hope and Cope, and to his special friends Matt and Katie for their exceptional care and devotion. 

Funeral service from Paperman and Sons, 3888 Jean-Talon St. W., on Wednesday, October 7 at 2:00 p.m. Burial at the Beit Abraham Family Estates Section, Kehal Israel Cemetery, D.D.O.
