Mervin Moses Yellin

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Mervin. Beloved son of the late Issie and the late Freda (Gladstone). Dear brother of the late Philip, and the late Betty (Cobrin).

After graduating from Baron Bing School in 1945, with a talent for design and visualization, he was awarded a scholarship to continue his studies at the Museum of Fine Arts, to become very skilled with a paint brush. He was Art Director at Stanfield-Johnson Advertising, Gordon-Hill, and BCP when he retired in 2009.

Sadly mourned by his niece Gail (Cobrin) and her husband Sheldon Rajesky and their children, Jeffrey and Nicole, and by his longtime best friends, Ray Kenyon, Carole and Serge, Marie, Caroline, Syd and Guita, and Lesli.

Graveside service at the Independent #1 (C9) section, Baron de Hirsch Cemetery on Tuesday, December 9 at 11:00 a.m. Donations in Mervin’s memory may be made to the charity of your choice.
