Mark Abramowitz

Peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, in his ninetieth year. Son of the late Moe and the late Lilian Abramowitz. Beloved and devoted husband of Susan (née Jelinek) for thirty years. Loving father and father-in-law of Susan, Lori and Lorne, Robert and Sarah; and step-father and step-father-in-law of Daniel and Sheri-Ann. Proud Papa of Joshua, and Jacqueline; Maya, and Noah; Samara; Amalia, Azarya, and Eitan. Predeceased by his first wife and the mother of his children, Arlene (née Green), and by his brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Frederick and Milena Jelinek. Mark will be missed by his nieces and nephew, by his cousins, friends, and all those who knew him. Special thanks to the doctors, nurses, and staff at the Lakeshore General Hospital.

Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Friday, December 5 at 12:00 noon. Burial at the Beth Tikvah Congregation Section, Kehal Israel Cemetery, D.D.O. Shiva at his home Friday following burial until 3:00 p.m., Sunday through Wednesday from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Evening services at 7:30 p.m. Sunday through Wednesday.
