Raphy (Habib) Ettedgui

C’est avec immense tristesse que la famille annonce le décès de M. Raphaël (Habib) Ettedgui, le Shabbat 16 Elul 5786 - le 29 août 2026. Père et beau-père aimant de Noah Paul et Leah Ettedgui, et Esther Jacqueline Ettedgui. Fier grand-père de Rachel, Rebecca Miriam, et Eva; Orly, Yoav, et Akiva. Frère et beau-frère cher d’Elie et Gigi Ettedgui, Daniel et Danielle Ettedgui, Mireille Ettedgui, feu Dr. David et Pierrette Azoulay, feu Gaby et Romano Giorgi. Fils de feu David et feu Elisa Isa Ettedgui (née Bitton). Raphy manquera à Sonia Btito, à ses nièces et neveux, ses cousins, sa famille en Israël, ses amis, et tous ceux et celles qui l’ont connue. Un grand merci aux médecins, infirmières, et l'équipe du Mount Sinaï pour leur dévouement. 

Le service funéraire aura lieu le mercredi 2 Septembre à 13h chez : Paperman et fils, 3888 rue Jean-Talon Ouest. L’inhumation suivra au section de la CSUQ au cimetière Eternal Gardens, 33 Elm, Beaconsfield. La Shiva se tiendra à 5789 av. Caldwell (salle de réception) le mercredi suite à l’inhumation jusqu'à 19h, jeudi de 14h à 16h et de 18h à 20h, vendredi de midi à 16h, et dimanche et lundi de 14h à 16h et de 18h à 20h.

After a courageous battle, on Shabbat 16 Elul 5786 - August 29, 2026. Loving father and father-in-law of Noah Paul and Leah Ettedgui, and Esther Jacqueline Ettedgui. Proud grandfather of Rachel, Rebecca Miriam, and Eva; Orly, Yoav, and Akiva. Beloved brother and brother-in-law of Elie and Gigi Ettedgui, Daniel and Danielle Ettedgui, Mireille Ettedgui, the late Dr. David and Pierrette Azoulay, and the late Gaby and Romano Giorgi. Son of the late David and the late Elisa Isa Ettedgui (née Bitton). Raphy will be missed by Sonia Btito, his nieces and nephews, his cousins, family in Israel, friends, and all those who knew him. A heartfelt thank you to the doctors, nurses, and staff at Mount Sinai for their dedication.

Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Wednesday, September 2 at 1:00 p.m. Burial at the CSUQ section, Eternal Gardens Cemetery, 33 Elm, Beaconsfield. Shiva will be observed at 5789 Caldwell Ave. (reception room) Wednesday following burial until 7:00 p.m., Thursday from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Friday from 12:00 noon to 4:00 p.m., Sunday and Monday from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
